Seo Se-chung (徐世忠, 1888–1957) was a Korean independence activist, known by his pen name, Chungang (春江). After graduating from Hansung School, he co-founded the secret youth organization Daedong Youth Association in 1909, along with Nam Hyung-woo, Park Jung-hwa, Shin Baek-woo, Lee Won-sik, Ahn Hee-je, and Seo Sang-il, to engage in the independence movement. In 1920, he helped form the secret resistance group Jubidan, while maintaining contact with the Provisional Government of Shanghai, but was arrested the following year after the group’s discovery. He also joined and actively participated in the Singanhoe after its establishment in 1927. Following his exile to Manchuria, he served as an instructor at the Shinheung Military Academy, founded by Lee Si-young, and later joined the Provisional Government in Shanghai. In recognition of his contributions, he was posthumously awarded the Order of Merit for National Foundation (Patriotic Medal) in 1963 by the South Korean government.
