This unique plaque, resembling a comb, features a lacing hole pierced at the top. The lower part is intricately embossed with seven pairs of edged teeth and two single-pointed curved hooks. The main body of the plaque has two lacing holes, and a symmetrical line, crafted using a delicate technique, runs through the center. Two parallel sets of seven-pointed bends are separated by this symmetrical line, with each set partially forming cloud-shaped hooks. The cloud-shaped hooks are simple, light in form, and exhibit the refined craftsmanship typical of small jade pieces.
A comparable example was excavated from Tomb No. 7, located at Stone Mound No. 1, Site No. 2 in Niuheliang. Similar pieces can be found in the Aurora Art Museum’s collection.
