This jade sculpture represents a seated deity with a man’s body and a bull’s head. The jade was originally dark green, but over time, the surface has entirely transformed into a deep brown. The sculpture stands firmly on its own, with openings pierced beneath the armpits and between the legs. The deity’s head features upward-flaring horns, ovoid ears, teardrop-shaped eyes, and a snout with visible nostrils, identifying it as that of a ruminant. In contrast, the rest of the figure exhibits distinctly human-like characteristics. The upper limbs, ending in digits, rest folded on the knees, while the legs, also with digits, are positioned in a seated posture.
